SkillsFWD is a bold new initiative on a mission to catalyze a more equitable skills-based hiring ecosystem leveraging learning and employment records.

Because cross-industry collaboration is critical to widespread implementation of learning and employment records (LERs), SkillsFWD will fund projects that include employers, learners and workers, education and training providers, and policymakers. SkillsFWD is intended to serve as a catalyst for organizations that have already implemented foundational strategies and infrastructure around LER systems. Applicants are expected to build upon existing tools or systems to demonstrate how to make LERs more accessible, interoperable and scalable.
